SILHOUETTE SOFT® is based on special suture threads used to lift sagging skin on the neck and face. Why undergo a SILHOUETTE SOFT® thread lift treatment?
As one ages, the underlying soft tissues of the face progressively lose facial fat, collagen and elastin, and with it their elasticity and volume. As a result, the upper cheeks can look hollow, jowls along the jawline and deepening of the nasolabial grooves might appear. The face looks more heavy, tired and aged. The SILHOUETTE SOFT® suture lift can re-suspend and elevate the soft tissues, refreshing and rejuvenating the face.*
The SILHOUETTE SOFT® is a facial rejuvenation technique that allows for a facial tissue suspension without having to resort to a full open facelift. It is therefore often referred to as “the non-surgical facelift”. Some of the advantages compared to a surgical facelift are that it is minimally invasive, is being performed in treatment rooms, not in theatre, and requires no general, only local anaesthetic. The treatment further does not need sedation, unless the patient is rather anxious and prefers mild sedation.
The SILHOUETTE SOFT® produces subtle, yet significant changes. The degree of elevation of the sagging tissues compared to a surgical facelift is about 20%.
