Liposuction

Liposuction is a relatively safe and effective, minimally-invasive surgical procedure that removes excess fat tissue from different sites on the body, thereby improving overall body contour. It is NOT a weight reduction procedure.

Dermal Fillers

Treatment with wrinkle or facial fillers, also referred to as dermal or skin fillers, injected by a qualified doctor will give you a more youthful look at a fraction of what a traditional facelift costs (No-knife facelift / Liquid facelift). At CapeMAC, we use the dermal fillers ranges:  ELLANSE™, RADIESSE, JUVEDERM®, PERFECTHA®, RESTYLANE® and TEOSYAL®, as well as fat transfer.

Vaginal Rejuvenation

Vaginal rejuvenation, also known as Feminine Rejuvenation or Feminine Enhancements, includes various medical treatments and procedures to restore or enhance the cosmetic appearance of the vagina, and enhance certain functional aspects such as increasing sexual satisfaction by tightening the inner walls and Introitus (vaginal entrance).

Weight Management

Studies on weight management have shown that patients who want to lose weight are often more successful when they work with their physician to shed pounds rather than using weight-loss programmes which do not utilise regular interaction with a doctor.

Silhouette Soft

The SILHOUETTE SOFT® is a minimally invasive facelift procedure. It’s a kind of thread lift or suture lift: Special suture threads are used to lift sagging skin on the neck, face and other areas of the body. The procedure is less time-consuming than a traditional facelift and does not require sedation or hospital stay. The result of the treatment is a more youthful and fresher appearance.

Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Removal

Laser Tattoo Removal refers to the non-invasive removal of tattoo ink pigment – using specific lasers. The laser breaks down the ink particles of the tattoo in the skin. The fragmented ink pigment is then flushed away through the body’s lymphatic system. Not all particles are broken down during one laser session. Hence, several treatment sessions are needed to effectively remove a tattoo. CapeMAC recommends between 6 and 10 treatment sessions, with intervals of at least 4 – 6 weeks.*

Hair Restoration & Hair Transplants

While premature balding is an all too common occurrence, there are very effective forms of corrective interventions available. Don’t get caught up in the maze of miracle cures that pop up on your media screens each day. Most of these are ‘snake oil’ and placebo at best. Stick to the tested and proven treatments and have your hair loss evaluated and monitored properly by a qualified Doctor.

Varicose Vein / Spider Vein treatments (Sclerotherapy)

Sclerotherapy involves injecting a solution directly into the vein. The solution causes the vein to scar, forcing blood to reroute through healthier veins. The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into local tissue and eventually fades.

Laser Therapy

We use the Bella Vein laser (980 Diode laser) to treat spider veins and small varicose veins. After the laser treatment the veins will darken and they will disappear within 1 – 3 months. Depending on the desired outcome you will most likely need a few session. The patient is also advised to wear a compression stocking after treatments.

Botox Injections

Botulinum Toxin A (e.g. BOTOX®)

Wrinkle Reducing Injections with Botulinum toxin temporarily lessen the appearance of facial wrinkles such as frown lines. Early studies now indicate that it also stimulates increased skin elasticity and thickness – further adding to the wrinkle-reducing effects. At CapeMAC, we use the brands BOTOX® and Dysport®.

Fat Transfer

Fat transfer, otherwise known as fat grafting, takes fat from one area of the body, where we do not want the fat or can spare it, and moves it to another area of the body, where we do want it. It is a redistribution of fat with the purpose to augment or fill in volume-deficient areas. As the tissue is coming from the same patient that it is being transferred to, fat transfer is often referred to as “autologous fat transfer”. (Autologous means of cells or tissues obtained from the same individual.)
